Joint+ Collagen Paste concentrates on the joints and connective structures relied upon for every stride, turn, jump and retrieve. It is designed for dogs facing greater physical demands through age, body size, repeated work or individual history.
This is not simply Maintenance with collagen added. Joint+ is a distinct formula built around green-lipped mussel, bovine collagen peptides Type I & III and high-potency Boswellia extract, supported by rosehip, turmeric and complementary omega oils.
Is your dog becoming stiff after exercise?
A dog may start the day keen but become slower to rise after resting, hesitate at steps or struggle to jump into the vehicle after sustained work. In the field, it comes down to the question every handler understands: did your dog still catch the runner late in the day?

Green-lipped mussel provides naturally occurring omega-3 lipids and glycosaminoglycans associated with cartilage, connective tissues and the healthy joint environment needed for smooth movement.

The revised Joint+ formula contains 110g green-lipped mussel, 100g bovine collagen peptides and 30g high-potency Boswellia extract per kilogram of paste. Approximate amounts delivered by the daily feeding guide are shown below.

Why green-lipped mussel?
Green-lipped mussel is more than a familiar name on a joint-supplement label. It naturally provides omega-3 lipids and glycosaminoglycans associated with cartilage, connective tissues and the wider joint environment. The revised formula includes it at 11%—equivalent to 990mg daily for a 20–30kg dog receiving approximately 9g of paste.
Why high-potency Boswellia?
Boswellia is a resin-derived botanical widely used in joint-support formulations. Joint+ uses an extract standardised to 65% boswellic acids, the defining compounds within Boswellia. Standardisation matters because it provides a known, consistent strength rather than an unspecified amount of raw herb. Its role within Joint+ is to complement GLM, collagen, rosehip, turmeric and the omega-oil blend where joint comfort, flexibility and ease of movement are the priority.
Why use both?
GLM and Boswellia are not interchangeable. GLM contributes marine lipids and naturally occurring joint-associated compounds; Boswellia provides a concentrated botanical element. Together with collagen peptides and the oil base, they allow Joint+ to support the joint environment, connective structures and comfortable movement from several nutritional angles.
Updated Joint+ composition
Composition: Coconut oil (20.7%), linseed oil (17%), salmon oil (17%), green-lipped mussel powder (11%), rosehip powder (11%), turmeric powder (10%), bovine collagen peptides Type I & III (10%), Boswellia serrata extract standardised to 65% boswellic acids (3%) and black pepper (0.3%).
The revised formula contains no spinach or kale. Those broad green botanicals remain part of Maintenance; Joint+ is now kept deliberately joint-focused.
PREVIOUS INJURY OR DEVELOPMENTAL CONCERN?
Veterinary assessment comes first.
An injury, lameness, pain or diagnosed developmental abnormality requires veterinary assessment and an appropriate care plan. When your vet agrees that a complementary feed supplement is suitable, Joint+ can form part of the dog’s ongoing nutritional routine for maintaining normal joint health and movement. It does not treat the injury or diagnosed condition and must not replace prescribed care.

Feeding guide
