FieldStrength Naturals is a natural supplement paste developed to support normal joint function, mobility, circulation and recovery after activity in active and working dogs.
It was developed and trialled over several years with working spaniels, retrievers and other active dogs before being made available more widely.
What type of dogs is it suitable for?
FieldStrength Naturals was developed with working dogs in mind, including spaniels, retrievers, gundogs and other active breeds.
It may also be suitable for older dogs or any dog living an active lifestyle that would benefit from additional daily nutritional support.
How do I feed it?
FieldStrength Naturals is supplied as a smooth paste that can be added directly to your dog’s normal food.
Most handlers find it easiest to spread the recommended amount over the food using a blunt knife, helping the paste stick to the meal and reduce waste.
Why is it a paste rather than a powder?
The paste format was chosen because it is simple to feed, sticks well to food and helps support consistent daily use.
Unlike loose powders, it is less likely to be left at the bottom of the bowl.
Suggested Feeding Guidelines
These guidelines are a simple starting point and can be adjusted slightly depending on your dog’s size, workload and routine.
| Dog Weight | Suggested Daily Amount |
| Under 10kg | Small amount |
| 10–20kg | Approx. ½ teaspoon |
| 20–30kg | Approx. 1 teaspoon |
| 30kg+ | 1–2 teaspoons |
Many handlers find it easiest to measure and spread the paste using a butter knife.
My dog was not sure at first — is that normal?
Yes. Some dogs can be cautious when introduced to a new food or supplement.
Most dogs accept FieldStrength Naturals quickly once it is spread through or over their normal food.
When might I notice a difference?
Every dog is different.
Some handlers report noticing changes in mobility, condition or recovery after feeding the supplement consistently as part of a daily routine. FieldStrength Naturals is designed for ongoing nutritional support, not as a quick fix.
Are the ingredients natural?
Yes. FieldStrength Naturals uses carefully selected natural ingredients, including green-lipped mussel, bilberry, turmeric, rosehip, spinach, kale and beneficial oils.
You can learn more about each ingredient on our Meet Our Ingredients page.
Can I feed it alongside my dog’s normal food?
Yes. FieldStrength Naturals is designed to be fed alongside your dog’s normal diet.
It is a complementary feed and is not a replacement for a complete, balanced diet.
Can puppies have it?
FieldStrength Naturals was developed for adult and working dogs.
If you are considering feeding it to a young dog, we recommend introducing only a very small amount gradually. For puppies or growing dogs with specific needs, speak to your vet first.
Can older dogs benefit from it?
Yes. Many handlers choose to feed FieldStrength Naturals to older dogs as part of their daily routine, particularly dogs that are still active or have worked throughout their lives.
It provides nutritional support for normal joint function, mobility, condition and everyday wellbeing.
Can FieldStrength Naturals be fed alongside other supplements?
In many cases, yes.
If your dog is already receiving other supplements, we recommend checking the ingredient lists to avoid unnecessary duplication, especially with oils, joint ingredients or added botanicals.
Will it upset my dog’s stomach?
FieldStrength Naturals contains natural ingredients and oils that are generally well tolerated.
As with any new food or supplement, introduce it gradually over the first few days. Some dogs may show a slight change in stool colour due to the natural ingredients. If this happens, reduce the amount and build up gradually.
Does the salmon oil go off?
FieldStrength Naturals should remain fresh when stored correctly.
Keep the lid tightly sealed and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A natural aroma from the oils and marine ingredients is normal and does not mean the product has deteriorated.
How should I store it?
Store in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly sealed.
Once opened, use within 5 weeks.
Best before: see base of pack.
How long does a tub last?
This depends on your dog’s size and the amount fed each day.
As a general guide, a 500g tub is suitable for regular use with a spaniel or larger dog, while a 1kg tub is ideal for multi-dog households, kennels or handlers feeding several working dogs.
Why does it smell different?
FieldStrength Naturals contains natural oils and marine ingredients, including salmon oil and green-lipped mussel, which can have a noticeable aroma.
This is normal, and many dogs find the smell appealing.
Will it stain?
Yes. FieldStrength Naturals contains turmeric, which can stain.
We recommend feeding it directly onto your dog’s food and avoiding contact with porous surfaces, pale fabrics or carpets.
Why are the ingredients shown so clearly?
We believe handlers should know exactly what they are feeding their dogs.
Every ingredient in FieldStrength Naturals is included for a specific reason, and we are proud to show and explain them openly.
